Echo Global Logistics Elects Samuel K. Skinner as Chairman of the Board of Directors

He served as Secretary of Transportation and White House Chief of Staff under President George H.W. Bush. As Secretary, he was credited with numerous successes, including the establishment of the President's National Transportation Policy and the development and passage of landmark aviation and surface transportation legislation.
Mr. Skinner also served as Chairman, CEO and President of USF Corporation, one of the nation's leading transportation and logistics companies. During each year that he served as CEO, the company was recognized by Fortune magazine as one of America's most admired companies.

Echo Global Logistics Names Chief Executive Officer
Chicago, IL, January 9, 2007 Echo Global Logistics, Inc., a technology-driven transportation management outsourcing firm, today announced that Douglas R. Waggoner has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer.
Waggoner's career in the transportation industry spans more than two decades. Most recently, he was President and CEO of USF Bestway, a $250 million subsidiary of $10 billion publicly owned transportation company YRC Worldwide, Inc. In an earlier role at USF Corporation, Mr. Waggoner served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing.

His prior experience includes various positions in operations, sales, marketing and technology with Yellow Freight System, Consolidated Freightways and McLean Trucking Company.
Mr. Waggoner, 47, earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from San Diego State University in 1980.
